Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, appeared in court following a defamation lawsuit filed against him by actress Martha Ankomah.
The suit was initiated several months ago after Lilwin made derogatory remarks about Ankomah.
During his first appearance at the Accra High Court, Lilwin, alongside his lawyer Nana Bonsu Twiretwie, publicly apologized to Ankomah.
Nana Bonsu emphasized the importance of resolving the matter amicably, noting that prominent figures in Ghana had advised Lil Win to seek a peaceful settlement.

In court, Lil Win expressed regret for his comments, publicly declaring his respect and affection for Ankomah and urging his fans to support her.
He acknowledged his mistake, attributing some of the misunderstanding to bloggers who allegedly misinterpreted his statements.
