Akufo-Addo Completes His 14-Day Mandatory Quarantine Today
Ghana’s sitting president – Nana Addo Akufo-Addo today completes his mandatory 14-day quarantine as a precautional measure COVID-19 after a close associate of his tested positive for the virus.
Ghana’s Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah made the announcement. He revealed that President Akufo-Addo’s will be resuming work on Monday the 20th of July 2020.
He noted:
“The president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, is expected to resume out home engagement from tomorrow after a 14-day precautionary self-isolation period,” he said.
“The President has during the period been working from the Presidential Villa at the Jubilee House. He is expected to from Monday, attend to business from his office at the Jubilee House. Additionally, he will attend to some engagement outside Accra during the week.”
Kojo Oppong Nkrumah further debunked the rumor that Akufo-Addo was flown out of Ghana for medical attention.
