Akufo-Addo Will Be More ‘dead goat’ than John Mahama: Top Professor Reveals

If President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo chooses not to listen to the calls to fire Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta and keeps him in office, he will be more of a dead goat than previous President John Dramani Mahama, according to Professor Ransford Gyampo at the University of Ghana.

Prof. Gyampo contends that the President needs to take the nation’s call for the Finance Minister’s resignation seriously.

He asserted that the president is the true definition of a dead goat because of his stubborn attitude toward the hardship that has engulfed the entire country and because he has refused to show Ken the exit.

“If he says that regardless of the national call, [he is] still going to keep him, then he will be more dead goat than John Mahama,” Prof Gyampo said.

“It was Mahama who said he was a dead goat and he was criticized for it. This call to sack Ofori-Atta is quite national.  Not listening to the call will make him more dead goat than John Mahama.”
