Yes indeed! Beyonce has featured Shatta Wale on her new upcoming album, ‘The Lion King: The Gift.
Ghana’s Acclaimed dancehall king has finally been recognized, at least for the least. The ‘Kaikai’ maker has finally landed a bigger international recognition featuring on an Album by America singer, songwriter and performing artist Beyonce.
Beyonce‘s album actively features a couple of Nigerian arts like Tekno, Yemi Alade, Wizkid and one more who most Ghanaians agree to be a dual citizen – Mr Eazi.
The LP features contributions from Kendrick Lamar, JAY-Z, Childish Gambino, 070 Shake, Tierra Whack, Pharrell.
A statement by Walt Disney announced on Tuesday (July 9) read, “The album will feature a number of global recording artists and “steeped in the sounds of Africa”.
The Lion King: The Gift will be released on July 19, 2019 via Parkwood Entertainment/Columbia Records along with the live-action film, which features Beyonce as Nala.
