Boomplay Paid Me Gh¢20,000 But I Used All To Pay 3Music Awards Performers – Sadig Adbulai Tells Sad Story

Ghanaian businessman and CEO of 3 Media Network has disclosed a sad story of how he used almost GH¢20,000 ‘salary’ from Boomplay to pay some artist who mounted pressure on him after performing at one of the awards nights.

According to Sadig Adbulai, he was left with only Gh¢300 after he paid off his debts and had no choice but to call on his family, friends, and some immediate associates for support.

Sadig Adbulai noted on Facebook:

“2. May, 2019 – Pressure started to mount from talent community seeking the remainders of talent performing fees. Brothers chop hot. – Started paying old debts with my Boomplay salary whilst working for 2020. (Boomplay paid me nearly Ghc 20,000 as country director, but our debts was so heavy, month in month out, I will only have just about Ghc 300 cedis left after paying off debts. Madam, till today no dey understand why then all my money used to finish like that, particularly when few days after end of month, I Dey come borrow money for fuel.
