The Ghana Police in Amasaman has prevented an attempted robbery on the Amasaman Melcom shop.
one suspect, Richard Essilfie aged 22, has been arrested in connection with the attempt.
Police are in pursuit of three accomplices who escaped arrest.
At about 2:43 am on 29th June 2021 a police patrol team reportedly responded to a distress call that thieves have broken into the Amasaman Melcom shop. Arresting one suspect who attempted to escape with his accomplices by jumping from the first floor of the shop.
He was, however, overpowered by the police.
