An emotional video of the late Akua Donkor, founder and leader of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), has emerged on social media, revealing her final wish to be buried close to former President John Evans Atta Mills at Asomdwee Park.
In an interview with journalist Kofi Adoma, Akua Donkor shared her desire to rest near the late president, mentioning that nine tombs were prepared at Asomdwee Park, and she hoped one would be reserved for her.

This video, recorded prior to her passing, resurfaced following her death on October 28, 2024, and has since been widely circulated online.
Many Ghanaians have taken to social media to share the video, expressing their condolences and wishing her soul a peaceful rest.
