Charlie Munger, an American billionaire, an investing genius who doubles as Warren Buffet’s right-hand man has died at age 99.
Munger was the longtime vice chairman and second-in-command to Warren Buffett at Berkshire Hathaway (BRKa.N).
He died at a California hospital on Tuesday morning, November 28, 2023, according to a statement released by 93-year-old Buffett.
Berkshire said Munger died peacefully at a hospital in California, where he lived. No cause was given. Munger would have turned 100 on Jan. 1.
“Berkshire Hathaway could not have been built to its present status without Charlie’s inspiration, wisdom and participation,” he said.
