Ghanaian international footballer Christian Atsu has been found alive among the rubble after a devastating earthquake hit Turkey yesterday, 6th February 2023.
Eyewitnesses captured the shocking moment on video as rescue workers pulled the footballer from the wreckage of a building that had collapsed.
The soccer star is said to be receiving medical attention but is reported to be in stable condition although he suffered a knee injury.
The news of Atsu’s survival has brought a ray of hope amidst the tragedy and has been met with relief and joy from fans around the world.
The soccer community and Ghanaians alike mostly on social media are rallying together to pray for his speedy recovery and well-being.
