The Ghana Police Service has launched an investigation into the vandalism of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s statue at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital Roundabout in Sekondi, Western Region.
According to a press release, the statue’s left leg has been damaged, and its accompanying plaque has been removed. Authorities have pledged to apprehend those responsible and bring them to justice, emphasizing the need to preserve public monuments.
