Ghana’s Amputee Football team, the Black Challenge, won the Amputee Africa Cup of Nations (AAFCON) title after defeating Morocco 2-1.
The Black Challenge led by Coach Richard Obeng, defeated their Moroccan counterparts in Egypt, earning a spot in the upcoming 2026 Amputee World Cup in Panama.
Ghana’s Amputee team won the Amputee Africa Cup of Nations (AAFCON) two years ago in Tanzania. The team has had an impressive run throughout the tournament, scoring 21 goals and conceding only three in six matches.

The Ghana Black Challenge are also the reigning champions of the Africa Paralympic Football held in 2023.
Yussif Yahaya scored, while a brace from Mubarak Mohammed ensured a 3-0 victory for Ghana as they advanced to the final of the competition happening in Egypt.
The team took an early lead thanks to Yussif Yahaya, who scored in the 4th minute.
