The family of a final-year student at Labone Senior High School, Abraham Samed, has petitioned the Ghana Education Service (GES) over an alleged assault by a senior housemaster, Eric Agyeman.
According to the petition, Eric Agyeman slapped Abraham after accusing him of having a phone on him. The family is concerned about the maltreatment of their ward and wants the GES to take action.
Abraham’s parents claim that the housemaster’s behavior was unjustified and has left their son traumatized. The incident has sparked outrage among students and parents, who are calling for the housemaster to be held accountable.
The GES has promised to investigate the matter and take appropriate action. The school authorities have also launched an investigation into the incident.
Abraham’s family is demanding justice and wants the GES to ensure that their son is protected from further harm.
They have hence released a press statement to the GES to probe the matter.
