The Sunyani premiere of Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win’s latest movie, “A Country Called Ghana,” has been rescheduled.
This decision was made in respect to the tragic accident in Kumasi that claimed the life of a 3-year-old child.
A statement from Lil Win’s team indicated that the premiere will be held at a later date, which will be announced in due course. The postponement underscores their sensitivity to the grieving family’s plight.
The statement also took the opportunity to apologize to the people of Ghana for a previous remark that was perceived as insensitive to the bereaved family’s situation. This gesture aims to mend any unintended hurt caused by the earlier comments.
In addition, Lil Win urged Ghanaians to keep him, his manager, and his security detail in their prayers as they continue to receive medical care at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital following the accident.
