These days, nothing surprises me anymore… Being a writer has really exposed my mindset to a lot of things that are happening around me as the day goes by.

However, this story right here sits on top of it all.

A young man, James Brown, a former Paralympian, has glued himself on top of a British Airways Aircraft plane pulling a stunner.

James Brown who is visually impaired has been sentenced to one year for causing widespread disruption in October 2019.

On the day of the glue incident, Simple Flying reports that the former Team GB cyclist and athlete had a ticket for the flight to Amsterdam.

However, instead of getting into the plane, Brown climbed onto the top of a British Airways aircraft as other passengers were boarding the plane.

As if that wasn’t enough, the court heard that Brown wedged his phone in the door so that it wouldn’t close, and proceeded to use a bottle of superglue, to glue his right hand to the aircraft.

After gluing himself he remained on the top of the aircraft for more than an hour before he was able to be removed.

Brown is alleged to have acted together with at least 10 other activists in a move to protest on environmental matters and climate change.

Meanwhile, outside the London City Airport at around the same time, protestors gathered with banners, singing and chanting.

While some of the protestors blocked the roads outside the airport, other protestors prevented passengers from getting into the terminal.

On the other hand, another activist aboard an Aer Lingus aircraft allegedly refused to take his seat and chose to pace the aisle giving a lecture on climate change.

Brown’s actions reportedly disrupted more than 300 passengers and cost British Airways £40 000.
