Veteran Nollywood actor Pete Edochie has advised young men against bending the knee to propose to women.

The veteran actor said any man who gets down on the knees to propose to a girl is not just an idiot but a bloody fool.

In what seemed like a piece of relationship advice to young men, Pete Edochie said an African man shouldn’t emulate this western practice.

He explained in the video sighted by occupygh.com that in the Whiteman’s land bending the knee to propose to a girl means you’ve surrendered to the girl, that’s why whenever there is a marital issue, the wife sacks the man from the house.
