An Accra Circuit Court has granted bail to an 18-year-old bus conductor who allegedly fondled the breast of a girl at the Mallam Atta Market in Accra.
The victim is said to have been undressed and had her breast fondled by Prince Kwabena in a Kiosk.
The culprit Kwabena Prince pleaded not guilty and was granted GHC5,000 bail with two sureties.
Prosecutor, DSP Agnes Boafo told the court that the complainant is a trader and father of the victim.
DSP Boafo narrating the incident to the court revealed that the victim visited her father who is a trader at the Mallam Attah Market around 7 pm.
She said on her way, Kwabena met the victim and he lured her into a kiosk, undressed her and began fondling her breasts.
A report was made to the police at the Kotobabi Police Station where an extract of occurrence was prepared for the complainant to take it to Nima Domestic Violence and Victim’s Support Unit (DOVVSU).
Meanwhile, the case has been adjourned to May 6, 2019.
