Medikal Drops ‘Diss Track’ To Fella Makafui

Rapper Medikal has released a new song titled “My Story,” which appears to address his separation from his estranged wife Fella Makafui.

In the track, the rapper candidly expresses his emotions amidst the controversies surrounding his marriage. “As I komot them dey put poison for my cup…person wey visit me for prison, take me go court…” he sings.

Medikal also hints at his concern over potentially losing his properties amid the divorce, including their East Legon home. Despite these challenges, he states that his faith in God keeps him strong and grounded.

This release follows serious allegations Medikal made against Fella Makafui. He claimed the actress underwent a tummy tuck surgery to promote her slim tea business. Though initially against the idea, Medikal says he paid over €25,000 for her surgeries in Nigeria and Turkey to ensure her happiness.

Furthermore, he accused Makafui of physical assault and destruction of property. Despite his reluctance to go public due to their family ties, Medikal stated that the situation had escalated beyond his control.

In response, Fella Makafui formally petitioned the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service to investigate Medikal for allegedly publishing false news that endangered her life. Her petition asserts that Medikal’s actions violate Section 208 of the Criminal Code of 1960, Act 29, which addresses the publication of false news. She also claims his actions contravene the Electronic Communications Act 2008 (Act 775), particularly Sections 76 (1) and 76 (2), which prohibit transmitting false or misleading information likely to endanger someone’s safety.

In a subsequent press statement, Makafui acknowledged Medikal’s social media comments about their four-year marriage but emphasized her preference to resolve matters privately through law enforcement to protect their daughter and herself from further harm.
