A young woman has been jailed for 2 and a half years by an Accra court for mistakenly sending ¢30,000 to the wrong number. This reportedly happened in Tema.
This is true from a new video that has just surfaced on social media.
According to the lady who has currently been incarcerated and in an interview, she mistakenly sent ¢30,0000 to a number instead of ¢3,000.
She revealed that she was then arrested and sent to court.
Unfortunately, the judge sentenced her to 2 and a half years in jail.
She is to pay the whole amount of money after serving her jail term as well.
