My Newborn Son Almost Lost One Hand Due To ‘Over Sabi’ At A Popular Hospital – Dad Recounts

A Nigerian dad, Olumayowa has recounted nightmare at a Lagos hospital that almost resulted in his son losing one of his hands.

The new dad recounted how a hospital in Lekki put the health of his newborn baby boy in danger because of there insistence on strictly feeding him with breast milk.

The hospital decided to feed the little baby intravenously which resulted to a damage to his skin but was miraculously rectified by another hospital.

“One hospital around Lekki doesn’t allow formula to avoid Jaundice. It’s strictly breast milk at birth. As breast milk wasn’t coming out properly on the first day , they decided to use other options but insisted on “No formula”. We told them he is not our first and we used the “formula” for the other kids and no jaundice.”, Olumayowa noted
