The sitting President of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has expressed his sympathy by mourning Junior Agogo whose demised shocked the walls of the country.
Yesterday, 22nd August, Ghanaians woke up with sad news of the demise of the former Ghana BlackStars’ player. Junior Agogo over the few years has been battling stroke, recovering in these few months to his death.
Junior Manuel Agogo, also former Nottingham Forest, Sheffield Wednesday and Bristol Rovers striker died at age 40.

Among the many who have mourn the young star is Asamoah Gyan, Medikal, Accra Hearts of Oak and the ever strong Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The father of the land, President Akufo-Addo has also jotted a few words to bid the soccer legend farewell.
President AKufo-Addo took to his official Twitter page to write;
“Saddened by the news of the death of former Black Stars Striker, Junior Agogo. He was a fine footballer, and was always proud to represent our nation. My sincere condolences to his family. May his soul rest in perfect peace.”
