Notably Ghanaian Twitter troll, Bongo Ideas has once again bitten a personality in the media space.
Reacting to Nana Ama McBrown’s signing to Media General that owns, TV3, Onua FM, and Onua TV, Bongo Idea has asserted that McBrown has nothing to offer an English-speaking station like TV3.
According to Bongo, McBrown ‘lacks proper communication skills on set, lacks the ability to ask the right questions, can’t simplify complicated issues, and can’t speak nor write flawless, impeccable English.’
“I’m not tryna hate but what does Nana Ama offer an English-speaking station like TV3?
She lacks proper communication skills on set, lacks the ability to ask the right questions, can’t simplify complicated issues, and can’t speak nor write flawless, impeccable English.,” Bongo noted sharing an image of Nana Ama McBrown being debuted at Media General.
As if this being enough, Bongo continued to slam the screen empress.
“Aside from her acting success, her journalistic and presentation skills are not sharp enough for her to join such a major media house. It probably stops at running ‘donkomi’ adverts on TV to target the Twi-speaking non-elites.”, Bongo noted in a follow up tweet.
“TV3 might be making the biggest mistake by hiring all these “top stars,” which will lead to stiff competition, rifts, and underperformance—the EIB Network’s (GhOne TV) Nemesis.
The bottom line is that Nana Ama is not Media General-worthy material. She might fit in at other stations, but she’s just not good enough to join the highly rated TV3 brand.”, the local troll concluded in his tweet that has ignited a conversation online.
