If you would recall, an 80-year-old Nigerian man working as a bricklayer went viral a few days back. The post called for help for the old man, stating that no man at that age should be working tirelessly like that.
Fortunately, the Nigerian community has reached out to help the man.
The video surfaced online and many people felt emotional for the old man who many opined should be resting at such an age.
Many people had decided to contribute money towards getting better living conditions for the old man.
It is gathered from a post made by a Twitter user known as @Justkingss that a total of GH¢234,000 (N17.9M) was able to be raised by kindhearted Nigerians.
A photo he shared shows the elderly man who was visited by some charitable individuals.
