President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has once again expressed unwavering confidence in his Vice President and New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Speaking in Kumasi, the President urged Ghanaians to elect Dr. Bawumia in the upcoming elections, describing him as a trustworthy and capable leader who can continue the progress achieved under the NPP administration.
“Bawumia has never lied to me throughout our years of working together,” President Akufo-Addo declared. “I trust him, and Ghanaians must trust him too. He is an honest man who will deliver and make Ghana much better. No other person can do that because it’s not in their DNA.”
In a pointed critique of opposition leader John Dramani Mahama, the President cautioned against what he described as a return to failed leadership. He rallied voters to back Dr. Bawumia, emphasizing that his leadership is the key to sustaining and enhancing Ghana’s development.
This endorsement echoes similar sentiments President Akufo-Addo shared earlier in October during a visit to Wa in the Upper West Region. There, he lauded Dr. Bawumia’s dedication and loyalty, highlighting their nearly two decades of collaboration in various capacities.
“Dr. Bawumia has proven his commitment to serving Ghana, and I have never doubted his ability to lead this nation,” the President affirmed.
