Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah Ends Opambour’s Career, Reveals How The Prophet Sells Fake Spiritual Water To His Members To Make Money

Angel TV presenter Okatakyie Afrifa-Mensah has hit back at Kumasi-based prophet Ebenezer Opambour Yiadom, popularly known as Prophet One, after the latter allegedly cursed him and declared he would die before the year ends.

The clash between the two public figures began after Afrifa-Mensah defended his colleague, Afia Pokua, also known as Vim Lady.

Prophet Opambour had reportedly rained curses on Vim Lady during a heated exchange, prompting Afrifa-Mensah to step in and condemn the prophet’s actions.

“I will not sit quietly and watch Opambour use his position as a man of God to intimidate and threaten others,” Afrifa-Mensah stated. His comments seemed to escalate tensions, as Prophet Opambour responded angrily, threatening to “deal with him” and issuing curses against the TV presenter, predicting his demise by the end of the year.

Afrifa-Mensah, however, was unfazed by the threats. In a fiery response, he dared Opambour to carry out his threats, accusing the prophet of exploiting his followers. He alleged that Opambour deceives his congregation by selling so-called “miracle water,” falsely claiming it has the power to bring them wealth.

“I am not afraid of Opambour or his curses,” Afrifa-Mensah declared. “It’s time we stopped tolerating these fake prophets who prey on the gullible and misuse religion for their personal gain.”

The confrontation has sparked widespread public debate, with many questioning the conduct of both parties. Critics have called for restraint and maturity, especially from influential figures in the media and religious circles, as their actions have the potential to shape public opinion and behavior.

As the feud continues to unfold, Ghanaians are left pondering the broader implications of such clashes, particularly regarding the role of religion and media in national discourse.
