Ghanaian Highlife musician Rex Omar has accused dancehall artiste Stonebwoy of stealing lyrics from one of his songs.
According to details gathered by occupyGh.com, Rex Omar is accusing Stoneboy of stealing lyrical lines from his recorded songs without seeking his permission.
Rex Omar made the accusation speaking on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz. Rex noted that using one’s lines without permission is a very serious breach but he decided not to take legal actions against Stonebwoy.
He said he saw Stonebwoy as a young upcoming artist who needs help with his career therefore he decided not to take any legal actions against him.
He also advised the young and upcoming artiasts to seek permission if they are going to use a line or rhythm or anything from someone’s work.
