Sam George has earned a degree in economics and political science from the London School of Economics.
Interestingly enough, the honorable member of parliament is the first Ghanaian ever to pursue the said course in London
To that effect, Sam George shared stunning images of his graduation on his Facebook page, along with a lengthy post outlining the difficulties he faced juggling his career as a member of parliament with his studies.
In the post, he iterated as follows:
“Yesterday, I graduated from The London School of Economics and Political Science – LSE with an MSc. in International Strategy and Diplomacy. This has been the culmination of a very demanding yet rewarding year.

The challenge of Parliament and my Constituency coupled with the work being done on the Private Members Bill my Colleagues and I are sponsoring, to having to study the course in person with the demands of family life as an added layer of responsibility, have taught me one thing – determination, grit and planning achieve everything.
This latest academic pursuit has not just opened a new vista in my career path but has as the LSE motto says, made me “know the causes of things.
I’m grateful to the academic faculty, my dissertation supervisor, my colleagues, and my loving family for their support over the past year as I embarked on this odyssey. My ultimate gratitude is to the LORD for His infinite grace and provision which made what was just a dream possible.
