Ghanaian rapper Micheal Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie, has finally reacted to a piece of viral news that he is dead.
In a press release sighted by OccupyGh.com, Sarkodie’s management has denounced news that their artiste is dead.
The press release reads:
Rapper Sarkodie is alive
“Sarkcess Music by this press release states on the record that Rapper Micheal Owusu Addo famed Sarkodie is not dead. Contrary to ongoing circulations and publications, Sarkodie is alive and currently working on ongoing music projects.
The general public is advised to ignore all trending circulations about the death of the artiste as it holds no truth.
Sarkcess Music entreats all parties involved, to stop the spread of this false news with immediate effect.
We are in strange times. The world is in the middle of a pandemic, the last thing we should be doing is creating circulating false news and generating unnecessary tensions.

The news of the rapper’s death was first spotted on an online TV station called Agyaadu TV.
Social media users have so far been calling for the arrest of the owners of the company.
