The Accra Melcom Plus branch of a Ghanaian retail store overcharged a customer for goods, which she discovered when she checked her receipt against the products she had actually purchased after purchasing them.
Ghanaians should exercise particular caution over the holiday season since the buyer, who also happens to be an entrepreneur, said that the same Melcom outlet had duped her twice.
According to several clients of the business who responded to the post, the staff at various Melcom retail locations routinely charge customers for products they didn’t purchase as part of a scam from which they purportedly profit.

As a matter of fact, Melcom Limited is the biggest chain of retail department shops in Ghana. Their headquarters are in Accra’s North Industrial Area on 2nd Palace Link Road.
