Thomas Partey Pays Tribute to Christian Atsu With His First Goal In 2023 (VIDEO)

Christian Atsu Twasam who was born on the 10th of January 1992 passed away on the 6th of February 2023 he perished under a rumble in the Turkey Earthquake.

Atsu was a Ghanaian professional footballer who mainly played as a winger even though he was also deployed as an attacking midfielder or left-back.

On the 18th of February, it was announced that his body was recovered from the rubble of the building he was residing in.

The demise of Christian Atsu has been the most painful news in Ghana since 2023 starting with the nature of his death.

Ghana Black Stars vice Captain, Thomas Partey who plays for the English side, Arsenal banged his first goal of 2023 against Bournemouth.

As much anticipated he has waited for this moment, he took this advantage to pay his tribute to the late Atsu with his inner shirt with the writing “Rest Well Christian Atsu”.

The match ended in 3-2 in favor of the Gunners.
