In Taraba State, kidnappers k!lled three siblings and a motorcycle rider after demanding N60 million in ransom from the father of the victims.
According to the Daily Trust, the incident happened on Sunday, December 25, in a forest close to Garin Dogo in the state’s Lau Local Government Area.
Alhaji Musa, the father of the young boys, is a cattle merchant, and the kidnappers initially sought N100m from him.
However, after some haggling, they agreed to accept N60m.

After killing the three siblings, the kidnappers killed a motorbike rider who had been recruited to carry the ransom to them in a forest close to the settlement.
On Monday, December 26, the victims were laid to rest in the community.
In light of this, Police in the state have confirmed the killings, according to DSP Usman Abdullahi, their spokesman.
