Just In: Tornado Hits Part of South Africa

News reaching OccupyGh.com indicates that South Africa has been hit by a Tornado.

The country has been experiencing raging weather conditions in the past few days and authorities predict even worse in the coming days.

Residents of KwaZulu-Natal on Tuesday witnessed a phenomenon that has never been experienced before as tornado rips through the midlands.

OccupyGh.com has gathered that several homes have collapsed, trees uprooted and electricity supply interrupted. Two people have been reported dead and scores injured as a result.

Videos of the devastating moments have been shared on social media.

The tornado is said to have picked up speed near a power station.

Disaster management teams were sent to assist the injured.

However, the South African Weather Service continues to caution Mzansis of the life-threatening conditions ahead.
