The Umbrella Rock in Yilo Krobo, Ghana is one of the main tourist attractions in the Eastern Region of the country.
The Umbrella Rock is about thirty minutes walk in the forest from Boti falls. The umbrella Rock is sited on a high land and thus, making it possible to watch nature hundreds of miles away.
Umbrella Rock is located in the Yilo Krobo District of the Eastern Region close to the Koforidua city, surrounded by beautiful forest that boasts wildlife.
The rock is said to have been discovered by a hunter who had gone hunting in the bush so many decades back.
Natives of Yilo Krobo had it that the hunter return to inform the people of the strange rock and has since then become a major tourist attractions in the region.
