Ghanaian international play Christian Atsu was Ghana’s winger who has played for the Black Stars on several occasions, notable his appearance at the 2014 World Cup where he made his first appearance.
So Why is Christian Atsu Not Playing For Ghana?
He took a 2-year break from the Ghana National team to focus on building his career at the club level.
Unfortunately, Atsu was reported missing and subsequently found dead following the February 6, 2023 earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria.
Atsu’s mortal remains have since been flown back to Ghana, awaiting family meeting and burial.
