A young lady on Twitter, @the_odditty, has caused a stir online with a debatable post she made about who should take authority in a relationship.
According to Oddity, it should be women who should ask the men out in a relationship.
In a recent tweet, she stressed that although women have the option of either consenting or not, the fact remains that they are always the ones chosen by the male folks.
She however added that they (women) deserve to have the ‘first pick’.
She noted as she shared her thoughts on Twitter:
I wish more women shot their shot. It might not seem as deep as it is but men get to choose who they end up with, we’re taught by society to wait till we’re chosen. You deserve to have first pick.
P.S yes i know you still choose whether or not you want to be with the man when he does choose you. My point still stands.
