NPP’s Ashanti Regional Chairman, Mr Bernard Antwi Boasiako, popularly known as Wontumi was today present before Ashanti King Otumfuo to explain himself after he was summoned by the elders.
Wontumi was summoned over his ‘kingdom’ comment to Otumfour that over the weeks had sparked a stir.
With humility and submissiveness, Wontumi is seen explaining himself and why he passed that comment.
According to reports, Chairman Wontumi bragged that he was more politically powerful than Otumfour and so he is there to explain why he said that.
The meeting is still ongoing, we await the final decision of Otumfour Osei Tutu although he earlier asked that his chiefs drop the case.
Meanwhile, social media users are roasting Chairman Wontumi for suddenly becoming humble after appearing at Manhyia Palace.
