Controversial Ghanaian social media influencer, Odii Tornado, has launched a scathing attack on Prophet Ebenezer Opambour, a Kumasi-based preacher, accusing him of tarnishing the image of Christianity.
In a fiery statement, Tornado alleged that Opambour, popularly known as the “Nation’s Prophet,” has made Christianity appear unattractive due to his actions and demeanor. He criticized the preacher for his frequent outbursts and what he described as “childish behavior.”
“You are old but you keep acting childish! Which serious man of God goes about cursing people he has issues with?” Tornado said. “You have tarnished the image of Christianity with your terrible attitude and fake prophecies. Only gullible, naïve people still come to your church.”
Tornado’s remarks follow a series of controversies involving Opambour, who has been criticized for using his platform to hurl curses at critics and individuals he disagrees with.
The influencer didn’t stop there. He also turned his attention to popular radio and TV presenter Okatakyie, calling him out for his alleged arrogance.
“Okatakyie parades himself like a Greek god when he is a nobody!” Tornado said. “He needs to learn humility before it is too late.”
Known for his unfiltered opinions, Odii Tornado has built a reputation for calling out public figures he believes are misusing their influence. While some applaud him for speaking truth to power, others criticize his approach as harsh and divisive.
As the comments continue to generate discussion online, neither Prophet Opambour nor Okatakyie has responded publicly to Tornado’s accusations. The saga has reignited debates about the conduct of public figures in positions of influence and the role of critics in holding them accountable.
