During an interview on Joy Prime’s Prime Morning, Ayeh-Paye affirmed that the Akufo-Addo administration is dedicated to resolving the challenges as pledged, with the commitment to have the situation resolved by the end of May 2024.

Highlighting the government’s track record of maintaining consistent electricity supply over the past seven years, Ayeh-Paye clarified that the recent outages are temporary and being actively addressed. He assured Ghanaians that by the end of May, such disruptions would cease.

Ayeh-Paye further noted that while the Volta River Authority (VRA) has not yet provided a specific timetable, they have communicated that the necessary actions have been taken to rectify the situation.
