Lewandowski outshines Haaland as Bayern come from behind to beat Dortmund

Robert Lewandowski scored a hat trick as Bayern Munich came from two goals down to beat Borussia Dortmund at the Allianz Arena on Saturday.

Dortmund who were without Jadon Sancho, Raphael Guerreiro, and Giovanni Reyna made an encouraging start with Erling Haaland scoring twice inside the opening 10 minutes to stun Bayern before Lewandowski replied with a brace of his own in an entertaining first-half.

Robert Lewandowski in his last two seasons for Bayern in all competitions has 90 goals and 17 assists in just 78 appearances.

Bayern took the lead late in the game with Leon Goretzka scoring to make it 3-2 before Lewandowski grabbed his third in stoppage time to secure the match ball.

The result sees Bayern return to the top of the Bundesliga table after RB Leipzig won at Freiburg earlier on Saturday. Dortmund however remains in sixth place and 16 points adrift of the leaders.
