The United States has announced that it will provide Ukraine with an additional $2 billion in military aid to support the country’s defense against Russia.
The announcement was made by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken during a press conference in Kyiv with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.
The aid package will include weapons, ammunition, armored vehicles, missiles, and air defenses to support Ukraine’s military efforts.
Blinken emphasized that the US is “rushing” to get the aid to the front lines, where it is needed most.
This additional funding brings the total US military aid to Ukraine to $63 billion, demonstrating the US’s ongoing commitment to supporting Ukraine’s defense.
