Wizkid, born Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and global Afrobeats icon. Rising to fame with his 2011 debut album Superstar, he has become one of Africa’s most influential artists.
He gained international acclaim through collaborations with Drake (“One Dance”) and Beyoncé (“Brown Skin Girl,” which won a Grammy).
He was the first African artist to sell out London’s O2 Arena (2021) and also pioneered the global rise of Afrobeats with hits like Ojuelegba and Essence.
