Cape Town: 21-Year-Old Woman R@Ped And M@Rdered

A devastating crime has shaken the community of Kraaifontein, where the body of 21-year-old Zintle Xabanisa Jonase was discovered in a mud puddle on July 7.

According to advocacy group Women For Change, Zintle’s half-naked body was found with signs of stab wounds and swollen eyes.

Community leader Gavin Riddles reported that Zintle was seen walking in Bloekombos the evening before her murder.

The brutal crime has left the community in fear, with residents calling for increased police presence and temporary street lights to improve safety.

This tragedy marks the second murder in the area, with residents expressing concerns about the escalating crime rate. Women For Change expressed their heartbreak over the loss of Zintle, saying, “Fly high, Sister.” The deceased was laid to rest on July 20.

The community is urging authorities to take action to address the growing fear and insecurity in the area.
