A tragic incident unfolded in Ibadan, Oyo State, as 33-year-old Comfort Olajumoke Olalere Tinubu allegedly stabbed her husband, 39-year-old Olusegun Tinubu, following a dispute.
The couple, married for three years with two young children, reportedly engaged in a heated argument after Comfort returned home at 7 pm and locked her husband out of their bedroom.
Tensions escalated, and according to a family member, Olusegun attempted to confront his wife, leading to a scuffle.
After the couple was initially separated by a relative staying with them, Comfort reportedly approached her husband again while he rested in the living room and stabbed him in the back.
Despite being rushed to the hospital, Olusegun was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Local authorities have launched an investigation into the matter, leaving the community and family in shock over the heartbreaking loss.
