Reports circulating online tell the tragic story of four-year-old Miguel Ovoke, who choked on a piece of meat during lunch break at Brick Hall School in Abuja, Nigeria.
According to information, Miguel brought food from home containing a large piece of meat, which he either swallowed or attempted to swallow while eating.
When he began to choke, a teacher noticed and called for help. Despite efforts to remove the meat, the school was unable to do so. Miguel was then rushed unconscious to the hospital, where the doctor pronounced him dead upon arrival.
Initially, the deceased boy’s parents suspected foul play, but a review of the school’s CCTV footage confirmed that the child had indeed choked on his food.
However, the boy’s mother blames the school for her child’s tragic fate, stating, “Brick Hall School Abuja killed my son. I took him to school that day in good health. The school claims my son choked on his food (beef), but instructed the doctor to announce that he died in the hospital. Nigerians, please help.”
