Daniel Okyem Aboagye, a former member of parliament (MP) for the Banatama Constituency in the Ashanti Region, has passed away.
After a brief illness, the former politician passed away suddenly in the early hours of Saturday morning.
On Hello FM in Kumasi, Majority Leader and Suame MP Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu announced the man’s passing.
After serving one term in parliament, the businessman joined the New Patriotic Party (MP) as its economics spokesperson.
He served on the Economic Committee of the House of Representatives.
He was the owner of numerous companies in the Ashanti Region, including the well-known 2M Transport Services.
