Just a few hours ago, heartbreaking news surfaced announcing the passing of Ghanaian Gospel Musician Kofi Owusu Dua Anto, widely known as KODA.
According to various sources, KODA had been battling a kidney disease that worsened in 2023, necessitating a kidney transplant to save his life. His wife generously volunteered to donate her kidney, and together they raised over $200k for the surgery.
The transplant procedure took place in late 2023, but unfortunately, KODA’s health began to deteriorate again in April. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he tragically succumbed to his illness, leaving behind his wife and three children.
At 45 years old, KODA’s untimely passing has plunged his loved ones and fans into deep mourning.
