A video that has garnered widespread attention and condemnation on social media shows a group of youths physically assaulting an elderly man.
The incident occurred after the man publicly expressed his intention to vote for Dr. Bawumia in the upcoming elections, a stance that the youths vehemently opposed, viewing Dr. Bawumia as an unsuitable vice president and potential future president.
In the video, the youths are seen delivering heavy blows and slaps to the elderly man. The situation escalated rapidly, but the timely intervention of a trotro driver, who quickly drove away from the scene, prevented the elderly man from sustaining severe injuries.
