Koku Ametohoe, a middle aged man who hails from the Volta Region of Ghana has reportedly been arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment in China.
His crime? He has killed 19 cats. Yes, that is the information we are gathering from China. Shocking enough, our China correspondent just confirmed from Beijing.
According to the Beijing city authorities, cats are worshiped and must not be killed by anyone – thus informations gathered by OccupyGh.com. However, when Koku was asked why he killed the cats in the Court room, this is what he said:
“Where I come from, we use this for light soup and trust me, it tastes better than frog meat. So I’d wanted to use this ten for soup and I planned to kill more to take home. Chinese cats taste very nice.”
In his concluding remarks, Ah Bao Chang, the Judge said “I would have given him a 50-year sentence but since he said cats taste better than frogs, I will give him a life sentence. That statement is a treasonable offence”
