On April 3, 2024, rapper AMG Medikal took to social media to express concerns about his safety, suggesting that individuals within his household might pose a threat to him.
In a tweet, Medikal urged scrutiny of the people residing in his house should anything untoward happen to him, explicitly exempting his daughter, Island Frimpong, from suspicion. “If anything bad happens to me, question the people living in my house, except for my daughter, Island Frimpong,” Medikal stated on X.
This statement followed his public revelation that he was no longer with Fella Makafui.
A few hours later, Medikal shared a worrying video on his Twitter account, alleging that Fella Makafui had called the police on him. According to Medikal, his only crime was asking Fella Makafui’s cousin, Bless, to leave their house after staying with them for over two years.
However, findings by GhPage suggest that Medikal’s story might not be as it seems. According to a close source, the police visited Medikal’s house following his tweet about his safety. Fella Makafui had lodged a complaint with the police regarding Medikal’s tweet to preempt any potential future complications.
The police had invited Medikal several times, which he allegedly ignored. Forced to take action, the police visited his house after learning he was back in Ghana following his successful 02 Indigo show.
The source confirmed that the police’s visit had nothing to do with Fella Makafui or her cousin, whom Medikal had accused publicly. The police were following up on Medikal’s own tweet.
Fella Makafui is expected to address the issue publicly to dissociate herself and her cousin from Medikal’s accusations, which have cast a shadow on his reputation.
