Accra Girls Students Who Tested Positive For COVID-19 Returns To Campus

The first group of students who tested positive for COVID-19 in Accra Girls Senior High School (SHS) have fully recovered and returned to campus to continue their academic studies, OccupyGh.com has learned.

Accra girls SHS made headlines in the country a few weeks ago after some students of Accra Girls SHS were reported to have contracted the novel coronavirus.

These made parents who have their wards at the school storm the campus with the intent of taking their children home.

On the 13th of July, the Ghana Health Service (GHS) together with the Ghana Education Service (GES) released a joint statement indicating that the Covid-19 cases in the school have jumped to 55.

However, the first group of students who tested positive in early June has recovered and return to campus.
