The one-week observation of the brutally slain Ghanaian woman Afia Ahenkan has taken place.
A few days ago, the event took place in Kumasi.
The husband and daughter of Ahenkan, 11, are seen in a video that surfaced on social media crying during the one-week observation.
The father of Afia Ahenkan is seen sobbing with his daughter while holding her close.
It was evident that her husband was grieving and feeling down.
He reportedly planned to travel to Ghana to assist his wife in burying her late mother, whose funeral is slated for October, but he was never able to see her.
Sadly, he would also have to bury his mother-in-law.
35-year-old female Afia Ahenkan, a businesswoman from Ghana, was killed a few weeks ago by Alister John, her houseboy.
Alister John reportedly killed Afia Ahenkan two weeks after starting his job.
After the deed, he allegedly fled with her car and other possessions.
However, he and his accomplice were both taken into custody. Additionally, he admitted to killing Afia Ahenkan.
